Over the past three months, the Acquisition & Sales department at Metamorfose Vertalingen has invested a substantial amount of energy in several large calls for tenders on the Dutch translation market. Our efforts have now borne fruit, in the form of multi-year contracts with several renowned bodies and institutions, including a Dutch government ministry and a university of applied sciences in the North of the country.
Metamorfose was keen to bid for these contracts as the relevant sectors are very much in line with our existing specialisms. We have worked for many years as the translation partner of several ministries in The Hague, and also for a number of important EU bodies such as the European Commission and the Court of Justice of the Euopean Union. This has enabled us to gain ample experience in socio-economic, legal and financial fields, which has definitely contributed to our success in this tender procedure, adding another Dutch ministry to our list of clients.
Higher education is another main specialism of Metamorfose Vertalingen. We are a well-known player both among research univerisities and universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands. Thanks to our experience with many clients in this segment (which, apart from higher education institutions, also include related organisations such as the VSNU (Association of Universities in the Netherlands), Nuffic (the Organisation for Internationalisation in Education) and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science), we contribute to the uniformity of terminology and a consistent, professional presentation of Dutch institutions in an international context.
